The KIDZ2KINGS team consists of friends and family members of Jonathan Dawson, as well as interested community leaders with the same vision. We wish to continue his legacy by officially launching this project in his memory. Each person volunteers and provides experience and mentorship to the youth in the Bridgeport neighborhood to be KINGS.

KIDS2KINGS is the brainchild of Jonathan Dawson who was killed on June 2, 2020. This organization is aimed to make his project become a reality and honor his memory.

In his own words we want to "provide support to youth to help them to become successful adults. Provide motivation, guidance, care and love. Prevent them from falling to the streets with guidance for people with experience. This will include people who were in the streets. " Our main focus will be in the city of Bridgeport , Connecticut
